    What will I be doing?
  • Delivery of strategic capital investment plans

  • Industrial maintenance responsibility and plant availability reporting into
    Site Board of Directors

  • Responsible for site hard and soft services reporting into FAC5 governance France & Board of Directors

  • Capital & Revenue projects delivery up to 6million reporting into Site Board of Directors

  • Site Security Manager reporting into corporate security France and Site Board of Directors

  • Responsible for Quality compliance EN9100 'A' category facilities related processes

  • Responsible for statutory compliance and HSE plant & infrastructure related topics

    MISSIONS
    Responsible for the site's infrastructure and capital assets availability, replacement and delivery of strategic capital assets plans.

    This role encompasses capital investment, maintenance of industrial plant and key equipment, maintenance and compliance of all hard and soft services through site Total Facilities Management (TFM) contracts, Security management responsibility with direct reporting lines into SAFRAN corporate security, Responsibility for security management, statutory compliance and facilities related safety topics.

    PRINCIPLE ACTIVITIES
    o Strategic Capital Delivery
    Working closely with the Head of Infrastructure & Low Carbon, the Head of Facilities will be responsible for the delivery of the sites Capital plan, (up to 6million / yr) and where required, will provide support for the development of any business cases relating to capital investment applications.

    o Capital Project Management
    Responsible for management and delivery of the site's capital and revenue projects (+20 project / yr), leading a team of project engineers and managers to deliver strategic site projects on time, in full to the agreed key deliverables, contractor / supplier management is fundamental to the success of these key site projects

    o Industrial Maintenance
    Responsibility for leading the maintenance team in the development of maintenance strategies to achieve world class availability levels, use of current maintenance technologies to ensure assets are safe and available when needed but working within the budget constraints set.

    o TFM Hard / Soft Management
    Overseeing an outsourced hard/soft facilities management service contract (£1.2million value per year), contract scope development and supplier selection with day to day management responsibility, strong focus on compliance and statutory requirements

    o Site Security Manager
    Responsible for the site security governance looking at risk and vulnerability and developing the site's security strategy in line with the SAFRAN corporate security team, this role involves a key position as part of the sites crisis management team

    o Carbon Reduction
    Responsible for ensuring that the site's carbon reduction plans are incorporated into the activities within the scope of the role.

    What do you need from me?
  • An experienced Facilities Manager with minimum 7yrs experience in 1st tier industrial environment
  • Excellent project manager with proven delivery of complex industrial projects
  • Engineering Professional BEng or equivalent
  • Experience of working in a modern maintenance environment min 3yrs
  • Management of CAPEX with experience of developing and presenting business cases to senior board
  • Budget management and forecasting ( 10million or more)
  • Excellent knowledge of statutory law and compliance
  • Experience of Hard and Soft services management within a TFM environment
  • Capable of leading and developing a large team in a service provider environment
  • Capable of working across all levels of the business to gain sponsorship and deliver key objectives
  • Security exposure with ability to develop and deploy an improvement strategy
  • Quality compliance experience preferably in an Aerospace environment (EN9100)
  • Ability to present at all levels and influence and audience
  • Crisis management experience based in a facilities infrastructure environment (desirable)
