Developing and building electromechanical systems for robotic automation

Looking to be at the forefront of robotic automation for manufacturing, this company have over the years built an expertise in multi-system engineering. Their scalable manufacturing platform is a modular system with seamless integration.

As the company grows, they seek further Hardware System Engineers to join them. As a senior engineer, you would work on a myriad of technical challenges in order to deliver critical components for the system. This would overlap with robotics and system engineering, as well as interface with customers and other technical stakeholders. You will need to be able to manage delivery of projects, optimise performance and develop best practises for others within the team.

Requirements:

  • Degree in engineering (mechanical, electronics, mechatronics or similar).

  • Demonstrable industry experience in the design, development and hands-on engineering of complex electromechanical devices ideally used within robotic manufacture / automation.

  • Track record in technical delivery (should be able to discuss in detail past successes in early product development to transfer-to-manufacture).

  • Experience with projects in a regulated industry (medical or aerospace) would be highly desirable.

    Due to the nature of projects, work is full-time at offices based just outside of Cambridge. Interested applicants should have full rights to work in the UK (no company sponsorship is available).
