Currently we’re looking for a Ground Segment Systems Engineer to help us provide solutions on a project based in Oxfordshire.

The client have a unique space sustainability based mission and are in the middle of developing a proprietary satellite that will change the way business is done in Space. They have began developing the accompanying Ground Segment and require Systems Engineering expertise to complete the work.

This project will be a minimum 6-month deployment and will likely last for the full 18 months. It will be a remote programme with occasional visits to site, no more than 2 days per month. This programme has a definitive Outside IR35 determination.

In order to suit the project requirements, you should have some of the following:

• Systems Engineering Experience across the V-Cycle
• Space Sector Experience
• Ground Segment Design Experience (Mission Control System, Mission Planning System and communication of modules)
• Upstream communications experience (Ground Segment to Satellite Communications)
• Knowledge of Space Mission Design
