The company provides water treatment, industrial water solutions and industrial water management to a diverse array of industries, trusted by household names such as Warburtons. They are a truly independent organisation, set up by highly skilled engineers over 30 years ago. Now looking to continue their growth, the opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Project Engineer to join.
You will be responsible for liaising closely with clients to understand bespoke requirements, creating detailed manufacturing drawings, P&ID's as well as pipework and steelwork fabrication drawings, preparing BOM's and working closely with internal teams to deliver leading-edge, specialist designs.
The role:
Full technical training provided to ensure you can be proficient in your role, inclusive of internal 1:1 training and external courses Work on a range of projects from conception to completion, liaising closely with internal and external stakeholders, internal departments and subcontractors with the objective of ensuring projects are completed on time, and to budget Complete process design calculations and assessments and producing detailed design information to qualify sound engineering practice, specific to industrial water and wastewater treatment systems Carry out multi-disciplinary design and specification of plant Apply use of proprietary OEM software tools to produce process performance projections for the suitability of water treatment systems Producing P&ID and 2D plant layout schematics using AutoCAD drawing software Complete occasional site visits to ensure plants are well-optimized
The person:
Graduate in either Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or Environmental Science Full Driving License
