Forging Operator

Up to £15.50 Per Hour

Permanent Role -Forging Operator
Double day shift - AM & PM shift rotation OR Nights

Summary
We are working in partnership as we look to increase our team. Due to retirement of long-standing employees and a large aerospace contract, we need additional forging operatives to join the team on a permanent basis.

Forging Operator - The Job
• Operating various engineering machines - forging machines
• Using various measuring gauges - verniers, shadow graphs etc
• Reading and working from engineering drawings.
• Working to customer specifications
• General Housekeeping duties

Forging Operator
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Able to work in imperial measurements
• Able to quality check using a variety of tools
• Must be clearly conversant in English
• Physically fit as there is a lot of manual work
• Must be organised and able to work to a process and ensure stock is moved correctly in specific batches
