The Role:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will provide global support for advanced surveillance and fire control systems across naval, land, and vehicle platforms. This role involves installing, maintaining, and optimizing hardware and software products while ensuring top-tier customer service. Key responsibilities include performing offsite repairs, system installations, and post-service reporting, as well as supporting sales demos and equipment trials. You will also conduct factory acceptance testing, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives, playing a critical role in maintaining system reliability and customer satisfaction.

What We Need From You:

  • Experience in maintaining complex systems using electrical and mechanical assembly tools within military environments, including naval, army, or air force applications.
  • Strong electronics knowledge, including microcontrollers and fundamental control theory, with expertise in servo tuning and a basic understanding of radar, optics, and communication systems.
  • Proficient in mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, with a solid grasp of assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and PC architecture, along with software skills for problem diagnosis, software installation, and updates.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to professionally represent the company in complex on-site customer interactions.

For Security Clearance reasons to work in this role, you must have British citizenship or be a dual national with British citizenship.
