Field Service Engineer – Staff – Salary + Paid Overtime 1.5X + Hire Car – Nottinghamshire + EU & US Visits

Our client, a world-leading manufacturer of pressurised equipment supplying into a variety of industries. Due to expansion of the department, they are seeking a Field Service Engineer on a permanent staff basis to work from their facility based in Nottinghamshire. Generally, you’ll be travelling 1 out of 4 weeks to client sites based within the UK or could be in Europe or in the United States. Some of the client including bus, train, truck and automotive companies.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be the customer point of contact for in service issues and training requirements. You will be responsible for planning and delivering the safe resolution of in-service issues, for the development and delivering of training.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Be a time served multi-skilled craftsman or have a bias in either mechanical or electrical discipline.
  
  
• Industry experience in either automotive, rail, fuel, medical, beverage, aerospace, industrial manufacturing or similar environment would be preferred.
  
  
• Experience of producing risk assessments/method statements.
  
  
• Experience of diagnosis of pneumatic and electrical faults (some training can be provided if needed).
  
  
• Self-motivated and resourceful, with good IT and problem-solving skills.
  
  
• Flexible attitude towards travel and working overtime will be required.
  
  
• You must have a UK driving license.
