Facilities Maintenance Engineer - Contract

£30 - £35 per hour (Umbrella)

The Role - Facilities Maintenance Engineer

We have an excellent opportunity for a Facilities Engineerto join a successful Advanced Engineering business.

You will play a key role in the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of facilities, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Duties - Facilities Maintenance Engineer

Routine maintenance and repairs on facility systems including HVAC systems.
Respond to mechanical and electrical breakdowns and alarms, and plumbing issues.
Conduct regular site inspections
Help develop and implement preventative maintenance programs
Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for major repairs and installations.
Help monitor and optimise energy usage to reduce costs.

Duties - Facilities Maintenance Engineer

Proven experience in facilities maintenance
Practical skills or trade experience in mechanical or electrical engineering.
Experience of troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
A full driving licence – required for travel between sites.
Ability to attain a Security Clearance
Good organisation skills, and self-motivated.
Good knowledge of MS Office Excel and Word
