Belcan is recruiting on a Permanent basis for an Engineering Team Leader in the Cheshire area.

Hybrid working model - 37.5 hours a week in our Runcorn office.

2 days in the office to support Graduate Engineers & Colleagues.

Suitable candidates will have a good general understanding of Engineering principles within Rotating Equipment - Gas Turbines, in a variety of harsh environments.

Mechanical - Piping pressures to ASME VIII, Teamcenter & Unigraphics NX.

Electrical power & Software systems.

Requirements for the role:

Produce system P&IDs including Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Produce system verification calculations to confirm design where required
Good knowledge of American design codes and standards
Knowledge of Mechanical handling
Knowledge of EU Directives (Machinery, PED and ATEX).
Working knowledge of corrosion and degradation mechanisms and able to select materials of construction for equipment in oil and gas onshore/offshore industry.
Mechanical understanding covering fabrication and welding standards and best practices
Ground up system design of mechanical and piping systems.
Where required design components, brackets and supports to suit the installation considering value and weight
Engineer will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of design including equipment datasheets, specification(s) and vendor liaison.What's in it for you if you join?
