Engineering Manager

My client is seeking an experiencedEngineering Managerto lead their engineering team in the delivery of cutting-edge engineering projects. As a key member of the management team, you will oversee the engineering design, development, and delivery of engineered-to-order solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a proven experience in leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams and a track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects.

The Role:

• To implement the engineering delivery strategy
• To manage the interfaces between the multi-discipline engineering teams.
• To provide input into overall engineering progress, resource management and client engagement on an assigned project.
• To identify and manage change
• To provide review and reporting of technical progress on an assigned project
• To assess the technical output of the project’s suppliers and sub-contractors
• To provide technical and line management of the engineering team

Requirements:

• Similar experience as an Engineering Manager or Senior Project Manager within an engineering / engineered-to-order environment
• Will have an Engineering Degree (BEng, MEng, HND)
• Prepared to undertake travel in the UK and overseas when required.
• Must have experience with a highly regulated industry, ideally nuclear, defence, aerospace.
• Must be able to attain SC / DV clearance
• Must have experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.

Package:

• Salary - to around £75,000
• Private health care & death in service benefit
• Pension 6% company contribution
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing with length of service)
