Monday-Friday - 40 hours per week-Flexible

The company:

Based in South Essex, you will be joining a well-known automotive component manufacturing business.

Due to continuous expansion, the company is now looking for an experienced Engine builder with experience in Engine build, ideally from a motorsport background, to join and be part of their manufacturing workshop team.

The successful candidate will be a part of a team in the Engine Build shop, assisting and guiding through all stages of the engine build process.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Strip and inspect engines.
Identifying failure causes through analysis and feedback to the Bodyshop lead.
Ensure engine build documentation is followed and completed accurately
Support following teams with engine pass-off procedures, inspections and installation.
Competent in measuring, inspecting, and checking engine components
Follow engine build assembly manual and drawings.This is just a summed-up list of responsibilities and other duties will be required.

Skills and Experience required:

Experienced Engine Builder
Experience with IC Engines
Experience in Motorsport, Aerospace or similar
Ability to follow strict engine assembly manuals and guides
Ability to work to strict quality procedures and safety steps.
