Role Title:Embedded Software Engineer.

Duration:12 Months

Location:Hybrid - Portsmouth (3-5 days work onsite depending on client activities)

Note:Umbrella only. CONTRACTOR MUST HOLD SC CLEARANCE.

Role Description:

Your role:Help build next-generation Satellite communication terminals. At the client, equity, diversity, and inclusion are part of everyday life, and will be part of your working reality. Your skills and experience:

  1. Solid knowledge (5-7 years of experience) of modern C++ software engineering for Linux platforms.
  2. Experience in working with RF/SDR solutions (modem or similar equipment).
  3. Intel and ARM processor architecture (nice to have: experience in migration from Intel to ARM).
  4. Knowledge of Eclipse CDT (on Linux).
  5. Knowledge of DO 178C software standard (experience in increasing compliance level of existing software).
  6. Basic knowledge of unit and integration test tools (e.g., Gitlab, Jenkins, Google Test, Robot Framework).
  7. Good knowledge of Atlassian toolset (e.g., Jira, Confluence, BitBucket).
  8. Able to work in an Agile or Scrum working environment.
