Degree qualified Embedded Software Engineer with proficiency in Low Level Embedded C programming under RTOS for Microprocessor based boards, will join a leading provider of Embedded Computing Products.
This established Company with Headquarters in the UK and offices in the US; designs and manufactures a range of embedded products for use in extreme environments used Globally in the Aerospace, Defence, Medical and Industrial Sectors.
The ideal Embedded Software Engineer will possess the following:

  • Good Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar.
  • Proven commercial Embedded C Programming experience for various Microprocessors (x86, PowerPC or high-performance ARM processors).
  • Experience with Board Support Packages.
  • Experience programming a variety of hardware devices at register level.
  • Developing low-level embedded software for RTOS (Linux, VxWorks ideal)
    The successful Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for the delivery of the BIOS Board Support Package’s; including Middleware, system and device driver software for RTOS (Linux, Windows and VxWorks); testing software and supporting the definition of product and software architecture as well as taking a hands-on approach to early hardware bring-up.
