This rapidly expanding scale-up business is looking for an experienced Embedded C/C++ Linux Software Engineer to join their head office team in Farnborough. They build and design products IoT products, Antennas and Terminals.

This is an office-based role, on average 4-5 days in per week due to working at the Hardware level.

Your new role
You’ll specifically be working on the development of a state-of-the-art chip used in Satellites. The work is therefore dynamic and can change quickly with the market demands.

We’re looking for a mid-level Engineer with hunger and energy to join apany looking to double in size in theing years.

You will have a crucial role in the development of networking, control and container services for their satellitemunications that are based on Linux. A key part of your role will be guiding parts of the implementation, so we need someone who is up to date with new technologies and best practices.

There is plenty to do in this role as some of your responsibilities will be the upscaling of their systems to support their growing customer base around the world and develop their innovative products as they breach new markets and opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for someone who is able to work independently bute together with the rest of the development team to support existing projects and develop new products and services. Someone with greatmunication skills and is passionate about technology will excel in this role. You will need experience in:

• Experience of full lifecycle embedded software development
• Embedded C / C++
• Embedded Linux (kernel and user-space development and low level drivers);
• Experience with RTOS (Real Time Operating Systems) paired with Microcontrollers.
