Electro Mechanical Technician (Cable Assembly)

£33,000 - £35,000 + Enhanced Holidays + Private Medical Insurance + Early Friday Finish + Training + Enhanced Pension + Progression

Are you an engineer with experience in electro-mechanical assembling looking to join a well-established company that offers an early Friday finish, enhanced pension and Private Medical Insurance?

Would you like to further your skillset with training and have the chance to eventually progress into a management role?

This company has been established for 3 decades and in 2022 was bought out by a multinational company in the electrical engineering industry. With newfound investment, this company are constantly growing in headcount and securing key contracts in the defence and aerospace industry.

This role will see the suitable candidate communicate knowledgably with colleagues, suppliers and customers regarding projects and issues to ensure deadlines are met. You will be expected to draw and model documents in 2D and 3D AutoCAD, provide support to the RoM process, pricing materials, labour and component costs to maximise the efficiency of projects.

The Role:

Monday - Thursday 8 - 4:30 Friday 8 - 12:30
Work co-operatively with engineering department when needed in any required activity to assist the business
Be streamlined and logical with all documents and processes associated with a project
Be innovative in projects to ensure the upmost efficiency to keep costs down and increase productivity
Design and model using AutoCAD, Solid Edge, Catia (software specific training available)
Travel globally as required to attend project and design meetingsThe Person:

Experience in an engineering role
