What you will enjoy doing
You will be responsible for the managementof an effective electrical maintenance programme supporting all aspects ofproduction on-site & off site, to ensure continuous reliable and efficientoperation under the supervision of the electrical foreman. In addition, you will prepare plant for maintenanceand inspection as required by executing LV/HV electrical isolations (all sites), Responsible for testing and reinstating equipment once maintenance is completed Assist theelectrical foreman in managing the Margam SAP Plant Maintenance systems(Electrical work centre only) to measured KPI targets. Ensuring all mandatorywork is properly scheduled, planned for and carried out on time You will assist withall electrical maintenance planning activities (in conjunction with ReliabilityEngineering Platform where appropriate) to optimise use of in-house andoutsource resources Additionally, you will resolve plant problems by rectifying defects, and identifying opportunities that willenhance plant reliability You will ensure allplant, machinery and equipment is operated and maintained efficiently andsafely to BOC Standards and procedures, and any applicable Statutoryregulations. Ensure records are kept complaint with ISO 9001:2000 requirements Participate inlocal site preventative measures and subsequent action in dealing withemergencies and abnormal conditions at the main Margam site and at thesatellites as required And lastly, you will inspect andchecking of operating plant, machinery and electrical equipment as required.Diagnose faults on plant and machinery and provide feedback / raise SAPnotifications and work orders for rectification. Manage and monitor the siteelectrical CBM programmes
What makes you great
You are recognisedapprenticeship, HNC or equivalent/higher qualification in an electricaldiscipline If you have somelevel of operating experience of working in an Air Seperation Unit environment and it's associated equipment that would be an advantage Also, you have detailedknowledge and understanding of BOC, industry and statutory standards and codesof practice, particularly relating to Electrical discipline You have detailedknowledge of Permit to Work procedures Lastly, you have goodunderstanding of current Health, Safety and Environment legislation
