Certain Advantage is collaborating with a prominent aerospace company in search of an experienced Electrical Systems Technician. This role involves hands-on assembly of electrical looms, supporting production activities, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

What you will be doing:

  • Assemble electrical wiring looms with precision, ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Interpret and work from schematic diagrams to facilitate electrical assembly.
  • Oversee Bills of Materials (BoMs) and monitor stock levels of electrical components.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements, incorporating lean manufacturing strategies.
  • Support the Team Leader in meeting key performance targets (KPIs).
  • Work closely with the Electrical Design team to develop prototypes for electrical and electro-mechanical sub-systems.
  • Adhere to safety and quality regulations in all assembly operations.

    Your background:
  • Familiarity with radios, electrical sub-systems, or related technologies.
  • Knowledge of automotive electrical systems.
  • Understanding of electromagnetic interference and its effects on electrical components and networks.
