Job Description

We're currently seeking an experiencedElectrical Systems Engineerto join our team on an exciting next-generation aviation programme, supporting the integration of hydrogen fuel cell powertrains into future aircraft systems.

You will be joining a cutting-edge programme focused on thedevelopment of hydrogen-electric propulsion systemsfor next-generation aircraft. The aim is to support the aviation industry's transition towardnet-zero emissionsby replacing conventional fuel systems withhydrogen fuel cell technology.

Key Responsibilties:

  • Develop and standardiseLow Voltage Electrical Systems design practices.
  • Lead the design and integration of new EWIS systems, includingHigh Voltage and Hydrogen Fuel Supply systems.
  • Assess and modify existing aircraft electrical systems for hydrogen fuel cell compatibility.
  • Design electrical systems usingSiemens NX, Capital Systems, and Teamcenter.
  • Provide hands-on electrical support for test assets and participate intesting and verification activities.
  • Deliverinstallation and modificationsolutions across aircraft platforms.
  • Conductanalysis, testing, and troubleshootingusing diagnostic tools to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Participate in safety assessments aligned withARP4754B and ARP4761.
  • Author detailed System and Equipment Description Reports and relevant validation documentation.
  • Carry out inspections and audits to ensure design and process conformity.


Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree inElectrical Engineeringor closely related field.
  • Experience inaerospace electrical systems, EWIS, and installation.
  • Strong knowledge ofCAD tools including NX and Capital Systems.
  • Familiarity with safety-critical environments and regulatory frameworks(ARP4754B, ARP4761).
  • Comfortable working withhigh voltage systemsand emerging technologies such ashydrogen propulsion.
