About the Role
As Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving the electrical systems that power high-speed production lines in a state-of-the-art production facility. Working on a 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern, you will be at the heart of ensuring operational excellence, safety and reliability.
Key Tasks

  • Reactive, preventive and corrective maintenance on cutting-edge packaging machinery and site services
  • Ensure smooth operation of equipment; Motors, Inverter Drives, PLC's, Control Systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues swiftly to minimise downtime
  • Optimise and enhance automation systems to boost reliability and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing performance
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and equipment performance
    Key Requirements:
  • Time served Electrical Engineer, min HNC (or equivalent)
  • Min 3-5 years in industrial electrical systems, with knowledge of PLCs, SCADA and automated control systems
  • Knowledge of Siemens S7, TIA Portal, AS-I Profibus
  • Experience of boilers, CHP plant, heating/cooling systems
  • Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Safety-first mindset and meticulous attention to detail
  • Physically fit; walking, climbing, working at heights and lifting up to 30 lbs as part of daily duties
