Fives Landis Ltd. is actively seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join its teams in Cross Hills, West Yorkshire, UK.

Fives Landis Ltd, a subsidiary of the Fives Group, is a manufacturer of high-precision cylindrical and special grinding machines. Historically, they supplied the automotive and ship-building industries and more recently they have diversified into the Electric Vehicle and Optics markets. They are based in Cross Hills, West Yorkshire and have an Innovation Centre in Bedford.

We are currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer, who has the same desire to prove that industry can do it! 

At Fives we all have a part to play in achieving our common purpose. Your role will be to: 

Produce electrical schematic diagrams and supporting documents for machines in our product range. 

Issue electrical hardware to be purchased or manufactured to support the build of machines in our product range. 

Modify existing electrical schematics and issuing required hardware for aftermarket projects. 

The workload will be project based, with a variety of new machine and aftermarket projects.

Be responsible for each project from design concept to final acceptance. 

At Fives Landis Ltd, and under the direction of the Controls Engineering Manager, you will join the Engineering team. 

Since we are located a short distance from Bradford, it will be easy for you to reach us by public transport or car.

We are seeking someone who has a minimum of ONC/HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, experience of producing electrical schematics for machine tools, SAP business system experience

Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings
