Location: Dorchester with UK-wide travel required

About the Role
As a Electrical Design Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of designing electrical systems for advanced robotic and electromechanical automation projects. You’ll work collaboratively across departments to develop safe, efficient, and practical control solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

Designing industrial control panels and systems using EPLAN software.
Producing electrical schematics and 2D panel layouts.
Supporting the workshop team with hands-on electrical fault-finding when needed.
Generating and managing technical documentation to a high standard. This role includes travel to UK client sites within the defence and aerospace sectors. For security purposes, UK citizenship is essential.

About You We’re looking for someone who is:

Qualified in Electrical Engineering (Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent experience).
Experienced in industrial electrical design.
Proficient in EPLAN and MS Office.
Confident in creating schematics and panel layouts.
Hands-on and willing to support across functions.
A natural problem solver with great communication skills.
Able to drive and travel throughout the UK. What We Offer
