We are recruiting an Industrial Door Engineer/Technician to join our field-based team in the Scotland. This role would suit candidates living near Glasgow or Edinburgh (M8 Corridor), with travel further afield as and when required.

The purpose of this role is to maintain, service and install industrial doors and docking equipment.

This role reports into the Operations Manager.

    We are looking for candidates who have the following skills and attributes:

  • Apprentice-trained/time-served/fitters mate route or equivalent (i.e., electrically NVQ level 3) in a maintenance or installation-related field

  • Basic electrical knowledge – essential

  • Knowledge and/or experience of hydraulics – preferred but not essential

  • Experienced within the industrial door or related industry, such as traffic gates/barriers.

  • Ability to work at height

  • IT literate

  • UK driver’s licence – essential
