Are you looking for a varied role where no two days are the same? Are you a team player who loves a challenge?  Then we’d love you to join us at ScS as a Distribution Centre Operations Manager. What’s the opportunity?
 We’re on the lookout for a Distribution Centre Operations Manager to come and join our team in Livingston. This is a key role as part of the logistics network, you will need to lead and manage your team to ensure we continue to provide an excellent customer experience throughout the delivery process.
What does the role involve?

Manage day to day operations of the main site and two satellite locations

Manage systems for effectively unloading and receiving goods into the Distribution Centre(DC) in line with company policy and practices to achieve the safe delivery in perfect condition of customer orders

Provide leadership to the entire team, including undertaking the task of recruitment, training, developing and motivating the team to optimise individual and collective work performance

Effectively control stock levels, ensuring that monitoring of stock takes place in line with the ScS policies and procedures

Provide, as required, management reports on DC activity and delivery performance to ensure that business reporting requirements and timelines are met

Deal as appropriate with customer enquiries and complaints to ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction is achieved

Ensure best practice in health and safety and fleet compliance

Ensure productivity targets are met to ensure that all costs are within budget
