We are looking for a Digital Manufacturing Engineer for a 12 months contract based in Derby on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs.

Job description - the role

Supporting the Compression Systems business within Civil Aerospace, pioneering the deployment of new technologies and systems into manufacturing environments across the group.

As a Digital Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for:

Deployment of new digital capability and the support of existing through liaison
with other Digital teams and directly with operational teams in the business.
Promote the appropriate standardisation of best practise across the business
whilst maintaining synergy with other business units and functions
(e.g.: Design Engineering).
Develop a digital mindset in people, establish and maintain CoPs and key user
networks for the digital technologies.
Support major transformation and improvement projects with technical expertise.What we require from the candidate:

Strong technical, digital and systems engineering skills.
Ability to effectively influence the way others work and the practices they adopt.
Ability to plan and maintain various work streams each managing stakeholders were
appropriate.
Possess excellent communication skills combined with the enthusiasm and ability to
interact easily with people at all levels.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes and digital systems.
Experience of influencing change.
Experience of training and coaching othersNext steps
