The Role:

Are you an experienced Design Engineer seeking an exciting opportunity? Join the dynamic engineering team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Brighouse, West Yorkshire. As a key player you'll contribute to providing top-notch design services to our clientele, primarily OEM machine tool providers in the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Source necessary information upon receipt of the order acknowledgment to create innovative design solutions.
  
  
• Collaborate with the engineering team to produce detailed technical drawings for in-house manufactured products.
  
  
• Liaise with production teams to ensure timely manufacturing and delivery of final products.
  
  
• Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers to guarantee unparalleled service.
  
  About You:
  
  We're not just looking for a Design Engineer; we're seeking someone with:
  
  
• A strong and professional work ethic.
  
  
• A passion for engineering and technical design, coupled with an innovative mindset.
  
  
• 5+ years of experience in engineering design within a drawing office environment.
  
  
• Proficiency in designing sheet metal and rotary equipment, ideally in the material handling/conveyor industry.
  
  
• Experience with 3D & 2D CAD software (Solidworks & Radan preferred, training provided if necessary).
  
  
• Familiarity with European/British standards & the Machinery Directive.
  
  
• Meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  
  
• A qualification in engineering design or related field (advantageous but not essential).
