Design Assurance Engineer

We're recruiting a Design Assurance Engineer to support a leading aerospace programme, ensuring avionics and electronic hardware meet all airworthiness, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Provide independent design assurance across the full lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with DO‑254, ARP4754A, ARP4761, EASA/FAA.
Review requirements, design artefacts, safety analyses, and test evidence.
Oversee/witness verification and qualification testing.
Support safety assessments (FMEA, FTA, SSA) and DAL compliance.
Ensure configuration and process adherence across engineering teams.

Requirements

Degree in Electronics, Avionics, Aerospace or similar.
Experience in design assurance, airworthiness, or avionics/electronics development.
Strong understanding of digital/analogue hardware, embedded systems, or avionics integration.
Familiarity with DOORS/Polarion/JAMA.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
