Morson Talent currently have an opportunity available for a Commercial Manager to work on behalf of or our aerospace client based in Bristol.

Job Purpose
This Commercial Manager position is a non-management role that will directly support the strategic growth of the Chinook and Apache portfolios. This role is full-time with hybrid working, the primary working location will be Bristol with office attendance 2-3 days per week.

Typical Responsibilities:
This position is expected to fulfil a variety of tasks and responsibilities typically associated with a commercial technical role, including, but not limited to:
· Leads the drafting of proposal and contractual language.
· Participates in the proposal and negotiation of agreements utilising approved contract terms and conditions.
· Support proposal reviews in line with the internal gated process.
· Supports / leads coordination and partnership with other internal functional disciplines, integrating business / finance / programme priorities to create solutions that balance business financial performance and customer relationship management
· Supports the development and documentation of guidance related to new and updated contractual regulatory requirements.
· Ensures compliance in the performance of contractual and business commitments, company policies, laws and regulations.

Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge Required
· Commercial support for new business campaigns and strategic growth
· Contract drafting
· DEFCON, T&C and KPI generation and negotiation
· Qualifying Defence Contract compliance
· Development and implementation of commercial strategy
· Excellent customer relationship management
· First-time quality
· Fast and effective responsiveness to emerging needs and requirements
· Integrated business partnering with stakeholders
· Ability to manage a diverse, fast-paced workload
· A high degree of independence
