Avon Network Events was established in 2019 as the sister company to Advanced Business Events (ABE), a leading provider in the creation of international industrial business conventions, combining bespoke B2B networking opportunities with world-class conferences.
Headquartered in Paris with offices and consultants globally, we produce around 30-40 events a year, ranging in size and industry scope. The sectors covered include aerospace; space and defence; aviation; automotive; rail; advanced and additive manufacturing; chemicals; cosmetics; pharmaceutical; energy; environment; technology; infrastructure; composite materials; medical; packaging and food processing.
The ABE concept of one-to-one meetings offers participants a wide range of potential clients and business partners. Our teams work to bring together the suppliers, decision makers, contractors, and other key stakeholders in the relevant industry sectors to ensure all event participants come away satisfied.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Conference Producer at Avon Network Events. The Conference Producer will be responsible for tasks such as conference production, market research, communication, speaker acquisition, and event management. This role is located in Bristol with flexibility for some remote work, as well as the opportunity to travel internationally multiple times a year.
Key Responsibilities
- Researching and identifying speakers to take part in our international events across Europe, Southeast Asia and North America
- Recruiting speakers to participate in conference programs
- Managing speaker contacts from initial recruitment through to their on-site experience and post-event feedback
- Researching and identifying new trends and technologies within the high-tech industries, in particular aerospace, space and defence
- Developing high quality conference programmes in the aforementioned industries
- Assisting the marketing team to create engaging content to promote the conferences and speakers
- Putting forward ideas for new ways to engage audiences
- On-site organisation of speakers and implementation of the conference programmes (with assistance from a technical/ AV team)
Qualifications
- Conference production and event management skills
- Market research and communication skills
- Experience in speaker acquisition
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Knowledge of aerospace, space and defense, or automotive sectors is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business, Marketing, or related field is a plus

Salary
£30-40k PA dependent on experience
