Our client, a prominent entity in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking a skilled Component Engineer for a contract role based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting electronic component selection and dealing with queries on electronic parts.
Identifying and sourcing replacements for obsolete components.
Tracking and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Analysing design margins and making necessary adjustments.
Collaborating with engineering teams to implement solutions.
Maintaining documentation in accordance with Mil Standards.

Job Requirements:

Experience with electronic component selection and obsolescence management.
Familiarity with tracking regulations and standards within the Defence sector.
Understanding of Mil Standard requirements.
Solid analytical skills and attention to detail.
Experience in the defence or aerospace industries is preferred.
Ability to work effectively on-site
