Commissioning Engineer (PLC Programming)

£40,000-£50,000 + Company Bonus + International Travel + Overtime + Progression + Company Benefits

Are you a Commissioning Engineer or similar from a PLC programming background looking for a technically challenging, specialist role within a well-established yet growing Manufacturer who offer the opportunity to see the world and to increase your earnings through a bonus and overtime?

This company are a well-established Manufacturer of bespoke equipment for a broad client base including global leading names within the Cosmetic and Pharmaceutical industries. They have seen rapid growth in recent years to the point they have a full order book for the next 5 years and are looking to expand their team to further this and compete with some of the largest names in the sector.

In this varied role you will be responsible for PLC programming from basic component level through to commissioning installation and maintenance on site. You will work within a tight-knit team of 4 as you work primarily on site with some global travel (roughly 20%), offering staying away allowances to increase your earnings.

This varied role would suit a Commissioning Engineer or similar from a PLC programming background looking for a technical role offering the chance to continually progress your career and to travel globally.

The Role:
* Design PLC based electrical control systems
* Commission and carry out fault-finding on site
* Work with electricians, panel builders and other teams
* Some international travel required

The Person:
* Commissioning Engineer or similar
* PLC Programming background
* Happy to undertake international travel
* Commutable to Basildon
