Tech contractor with commercial and military/government customers require a Commercial Manager. Applicants need full commercial contract management lifecycle experience gained within; aerospace, defence, energy, government contracting etc.

The Commercial Manager will join a successful, high-performing Commercial Contract Management team on an 8 month FTC basis, working on new and existing contracts across the full commercial contract lifecycle. The Commercial Manager will support bids/new business activities, negotiate, manage contracts and lead on post-signature change management activities for both B2B and military/government work.

Specific duties of the Commercial Manager include:

Support business growth and work winning activities through the development and execution of commercial strategies
Provide commercial expertise from bids/BD stage to contract negotiation to through life support
Draft, negotiate and manage a range of contracts - IP, confidentiality, teaming, subcontracts etc
Identify commercial opportunities and risks at bidding, negotiation and contract management stages
Act as point of contact for customers
Collaborate with colleagues in Sales to maximise IP and commercial opportunities

Commercial Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:

Full lifecycle commercial contract management expertise - bidding, negotiating, contract management and change
Previous experience within; aerospace, defence, energy, government contracting or similar B2B commercial contracts environments
Commerciality, entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to spot commercial opportunity
Relationship builder - great with colleagues, stakeholders, customers etc
Comfortable with hybrid working, and working on a 8 month FTC basis
