Are you an experienced Commercial Manager looking to make a real impact for an established defence organisation? Butler Ross are pleased to be supporting the recruitment of a commercial manager / contract manager - an exciting opportunity for an individual to become part of a team delivering mission-critical services to government and defence clients across the globe.

Working within a dynamic commercial team, you'll support complex, long-term programmes across the full contract life-cycle, driving contract success and continuous improvement. This position is offering a salary around the £60,000 mark, will be based in the Bournemouth area, and operates on a hybrid-working basis (a 3/2 split, Office/WFH).

Key Responsibilities include:

Lead commercial and contractual activities from initial bid development to closeout.
Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and key clients
Driving supplier performance management and risk mitigation strategies

Desired Experience / Skills:

Relevant commercial experience, ideally in a defence, military, government or aerospace environment.
Strong understanding of commercial principles, contract law, and full life-cycle contract management.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
Commercially focused with strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
