Job Title: Account Manager

Location: North East England (with travel as required)

Working Hours:

Full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexibility for travel to customer sites and occasional international visits.

Job Description:

As an Account Manager, you will lead relationships with key customers, acting as their primary contact for commercial and technical matters. You’ll identify and develop new opportunities, support project delivery, and ensure agreements are fulfilled to the highest standard.

In this role, you will:



Drive new business and identify profitable opportunities for products, services, and projects.

Act as the main point of contact for customer accounts, managing communications at all levels.

Analyse customer requirements and support RFQ processes from initial contact through to project delivery.

*

Negotiate proposals, ensuring commercially successful outcomes.

*

Monitor customer satisfaction, escalate issues where necessary, and provide technical support.

Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and documentation.

*

Work closely with technical and commercial teams to ensure smooth delivery of solutions.

Skills & Experience:

To be successful as an Account Manager, you should have:

A degree in Engineering or related field (preferred but not essential).

*

At least 3 years’ experience in technical sales support, ideally in the automotive sector.

*

Strong technical knowledge of emission control technologies.

*

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

*

Strong commercial and strategic acumen.

*

Ability to work independently, prioritise workloads, and manage customer expectations.

*

Willingness to travel to support customer engagements and business development.
