As a key member of a newly formed leadership team, this role reports directly to the Managing Director and leads thecommercial functionof a top-tier bespoke engineering services company. The successfulCommercial Directorwill have a unique opportunity to shape the commercial strategy withfull autonomy, driving business success while managing key customer relationships across the aerospace sector.

AsCommercial Director, you will:

  • Develop and implement thecommercial strategyto drive profitability and align with the company’s wider business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain robust customer relationships bynurturing existing partnershipsand leading initiatives to attract new clients, ensuring sustainable growth.
  • Oversee pricing, forecasting, and commercial decisions, focusing onachieving profit-margin targetsand ensuring accurate financial projections.
  • Lead and mentor the commercial team, promoting a high-performance culture with anemphasis on growthand professional development.
  • Drive contractual negotiations with key clients,securing agreementsthat meet company objectives and ensure long-term value.
  • Establish partnerships with third-party providers, ensuring contracts are fair, compliant, andalign with strategic business goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the leadership team and other departments, fostering cross-functional alignment to support the company’s mission and objectives.
