Job Title:Commercial Business Manager
Location:Home based with travel – UK
Contract:Full-time, permanent
Due to growth, we have a new and exciting opportunity for a Commercial Business Manager to join our highly successfully Managed Accounts Sales team.
This is a field-based role which will require travel across UK&I in order to meet with prospective clients and win new business.
About the role
In this role, you will be primarily responsible for proactively selling BSI solutions to newly identified clients through proactive selling methods. You will build and create your own pipelines, continuously identifying new sales opportunities and progressing these through to a conclusion.
You will take a consultative and collaborative approach to building relationships with prospective clients, taking the time to understand their organisation, utilising effective questioning techniques to identify their needs and help them understand the value proposition of our solutions.
Additional responsibilities include:
Identify new and appropriate client prospects to grow our client base driven through targeted sales focused client meetings.
Generate sales pipeline and revenue in line with new business targets.
Demonstrate use of effective sales process to understand, investigate, explore and influence clients to create desire for relevant BSI products/services.
Apply sound knowledge and understanding of product features, advantages and benefits to clients to win business.
Work closely with internal colleagues to understand and align relevant resource requirements and provide timelines for delivery to meet client order and solve any client concerns.
Create effective proposals, produce and deliver effective presentations to clients.
Routinely review and adjust sales activity and KPIs, based on sales ratios to plan future sales activities to deliver on financial and activity targets.
Produce accurate sales forecasts in a timely way.
Utilise digital sales/product collateral to illustrate how a range of BSI products meet identified client needs.
Regularly update and maintain CRM following all sales activity.
Remain up to date with developments in the Assurance Services industry and be able explain the standards development process to client.
Able to accurately define requirements, including buying process, budget, positioning vs competition and actual circumstances which positively affect potential sales.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
Demonstrable experience within sales and field sales roles.
Evidence of generating new business which includes building and managing your own pipeline.
Effective communication skills across all levels of stakeholders including key decision makers.
Strong influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to handle objections positively.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
The ability to interpret complex and technical information.
Experience of effectively using social selling tools.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and objectives.
