Job title: CNC Turner Programmer

Location: Midhurst

Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Our client are a leading precision manufacturing company specialising in the production of high-quality components for a range of industries, including:
Food processing and packaging, Pharmaceuticals, Mechanical handling systems and robotics, Aerospace and Sub-sea industries
Their expertise lies in small batch to 1 off work with the highest of quality.

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Turner Programmer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will program, set, and operate a XYZ live tooling lathe with Siemens controls, ensuring precision and efficiency in producing high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities
⦁ Program, set, and operate the CNC XYZ live tooling lathe using Siemens controls.
⦁ Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce components to exact specifications.
⦁ Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the machine.
⦁ Optimize machining processes for efficiency and quality.
⦁ Perform quality checks to ensure components meet strict tolerances and customer standards.

Highly Beneficial Skills
⦁ Proven experience as a CNC Turner Programmer, particularly with Siemens controls.
⦁ Proficiency in cylindrical and surface grinding, including setup and operation of grinding machines.
⦁ Experience with conventional turning and milling techniques.
⦁ Knowledge of tooling selection and maintenance for various machining processes.

Required Qualifications and Experience
⦁ Time served or apprentice trained
⦁ Strong understanding of machining principles and best practices.
⦁ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
⦁ Keen attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
