Orbital Recruitment are looking for 3-4 CNC Turners for our client within the Motorsport sector in the Newbury area.

This vacancy is on NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS with rates below.

£38-£45p/h PAYE/LTD/UMB for Nights
£33-£40p/h PAYE/LTD/UMB for Weekends

Duties:

• Setting and Operating CNC Lathes with OKUMA controls to manufacture precision
  
  
• components for Motorsport sector
  
  
• Materials ranging through various in-house spec Steel, Stainless and Aluminium.
  
  
• Post-heat treatment materials that must be annealed and/or hardened.
  
  
• Working on components with much tighter tolerances, specified surface finishes, amongst strict circularity, concentricity and flatness.
  
  
• Some Hard turning operations, for example, do not allow a higher ovality run-out than 0.03mm whilst demanding +/-0.01mm tolerances on some diameters and depths.
  
  Hours:
  
  
• Nights: Monday – Thursday, 19:00 – 06:00 with 1 hour unpaid break.
  
  
• Weekends: Friday – Sunday 06:00 – 18:30 with 30 minute unpaid break
  
  
• Contract position 3 month rolling for right candidate
