Blue Arrow Derby are proud to be working in partnership with a leading manufacturer in Derby who are looking to recruit a CNC Programmer/Operator on a full time, permanent basis.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: Up to £45,000
What will you be doing in the CNC Programmer/Operator role:
* Operating the CMS 5 Axis machines
* Producing composite tooling, patterns, jigs and components.
* Delivering bespoke and high quality composite components for various industries (aerospace being one)
* Use Auto Desk PowerMill
* Support the 5S and Total Prevention Management (TPM) system
Previous experience and requirements:
* Must have experience using PowerMill
* To be able to programme off-line, with Auto Desk PowerMill.
* To be able set tools and system, enabling efficient operation of the Axis 5 systems.
* Heidenhain 3 & 5 axis control systems for programming and operating
* 3 Axis Fusion 260 CAM software, programme and operating.
* Experience in a fast-paced environment (Motorsport would be an advantage)
