CNC Programmer on a 4-day week, that's correct a 4 DAY WEEK! You'll be working as an offline programmer producing programmes for 3 and 5 axis mills which will be manufacturing components into the aerospace industry.

Due to expansion within the team, the opportunity has come up for an offline programmer to join a well-known aerospace component manufacturer. You'll be working alongside a highly skilled team who frequently work to the tightest of tolerances. The workshop manager is extremely hands on in implementing constant improvements and updates to the workshop and CAD/CAM office, creating a well organised working environment, so it won't feel like a slog coming in to work.

You'll need to hit the ground running due to high workflow in the team. This may also include occasionally setting 5 axis mills if required.

You'll be working on the very popular 4-day shift pattern from Monday - Thursday which gives you plenty of opportunity to pick up overtime on Friday and Saturday if wanted paid at time and a half!

What is required;

Minimum 2 years Hypermill experience (Other software's may be acceptable)
Machining Background
Capability to set CNC Mills
Ability to work under own supervision
If working a 4-day week and becoming part of a well renowned aerospace company sounds like a bit of you, click apply and Will Donaldson will be in contact to go through the details.
