This is an excellent opportunity to work on innovative projects and play a key role in ensuring high-quality manufacturing standards.
Package:

  • Hourly Rate: £22.61 - £25.27 per hour (inc shift allowance)
  • Shift Pattern: Nightshift – 08:45pm – 07:00am (Monday to Thursday)

      Key Responsibilities:
  • Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines to create components according to customer and drawing specifications.
  • Ensure accurate programming, cutting, and identification of materials to maximise stock utilisation and minimise waste.
  • Maintain accurate documentation on computer-based stock control systems and supporting paperwork.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure full compliance with customer requirements.
  • Promote and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Train and support other operatives as required.
    Requirements:
  • Experience in CNC programming, setting, and operating milling machines.
  • Ability to read and understand cutting patterns to optimise material utilisation.
  • Familiarity with health and safety practices, including COSHH and risk assessments.
  • Self-motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented.
  • PC literacy for documentation and record-keeping purposes.
  • (Desirable) Valid counterbalance mechanical handling license and machine maintenance skills.
