Job role: CNC Miller, Setter & Programmer
Salary: £37,000-£38,000 (38 hour week)
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Hours: 06.00 to 14.30 Monday to Thursday, 06.00 to 12.00 on a Friday
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Interaction have partnered with a leading precision engineering firm specialising in the aerospace, automotive and motorsport industries based in Northampton on their search for an experienced CNC Miller, Setter & Programmer. Our client is a market leader who are now at a stage of growth where they are looking to add an experienced CNC Miller to their team.   • Overtime readily available paid at £25 per hour midweek + £30 per hour on weekends

The Role:

  • You will program, set and operate 5axis Milling machines
  • Offline programming will be part of this position - using Siemens CAD CAM
  • You will produce small, complex batches of components to quality standards and tight tolerances.
  • You will be using DMG Mori 5 axis, Siemens controlled machinery.
  • You will join the busy Milling section and be extremely important to the running of the team

The Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as CNC Miller, Setter and Programmer using Fanuc controls (essential)
  • Programming experience (advantageous)
  • High attention to detail and able to work to tight tolerances
  • Self-motivated
