CNC Miller - Programmer / Setter / Operator Job Overview

Programming, setting, and operating Haas, DMG, and YCM CNC milling machines
Using Hypermill and Alphacam to create and optimise programs for complex components
Working with tight tolerances and high-spec materials
Ensuring all parts meet strict quality and performance standards
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Collaborating with engineers and quality inspectors to maintain precision and efficiency
Maintaining machines and ensuring a safe and clean working environment

CNC Miller - Programmer / Setter / Operator Job Requirements

Proven experience as a CNC Miller - Programmer/Setter/Operator
Strong knowledge of 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machining
Experience with Hypermill and Alphacam software
Familiarity with Haas, DMG, and YCM milling machines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Based in a commutable distance of Chelmsford

CNC Miller - Programmer / Setter / Operator Salary & Benefits

Competitive rates of pay
Overtime at 1.5x
Monthly bonus scheme
Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:00. 37.5 hour working week.
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
