Prime Appointments are currently working with a prestigious manufacturing company in Chelmsford, who specialise in CNC-machined components for the Aerospace and Defence industries.

They are currently seeking skilled CNC Millers to join their expanding team on either a day or night shift!

With increased demand, they are looking to strengthen both shifts with experienced CNC Machinists who can program, set, and operate CNC Lathes using Fanuc, Mazatrol, or Siemens controls. Setter Operators will also be considered.

What You'll Do

Programme, set, and operate CNC Milling machines to produce precision components.
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Select tooling and optimise machine setups for one-off and small batch production.
Conduct quality checks to ensure components meet tight tolerances.
Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines to ensure efficient operation.
Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and follow health and safety standards.About You

Proven experience as a CNC Miller in a precision engineering environment.
Skilled in programming and operating CNC milling machines with Fanuc controls.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
