Our customer is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Miller to join their Team who manufacture parts for the Oil, Gas & Aerospace Industries. They have invested in New Machinery and have a new Management Team overseeing the Shop Floor

As part of a successful team this role requires the candidate to have experience of:

  • Programming and Setting Mazak or Haas machines for one off components using Mazatrol & ISO programming

  • The ability to machine a variety of exotic materials including Inconel, Super Duplex, Titanium etc.

  • Experience machining medium to large components supplied to the Oil, Gas and Aerospace Industry Standards

    It is essential that the applicant have experience of:

  • Programming using Fanuc or Mazatrol high precision controls

  • Machining to tight tolerances

  • Reading and interpret engineering drawings

  • Time served Engineer

    As most of the work is bespoke and a high percentage one offs and small batch runs, this is an interesting and varied position working with your "Buddy" on the opposite shift. This position requires a strong Team Player who will share knowledge and experience.

    There are various shift patterns 6am till 2pm, 2pm till 10pm with an opportunity of overtime as required.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: £42,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
