Role Overview – CNC Miller

We are working with a well-established precision engineering company, delivering high-quality components to industries across the UK. With a focus on innovation and craftsmanship, they are looking for an experienced CNC Miller to set and operate a variety of CNC milling machines. You’ll play a key role in producing precision components to exact specifications, working with advanced machinery in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities – CNC Miller

Set and operate CNC milling machines, including Bridgeport, Beaver, Hardinge, and Hartford models.
Use CNC CAM systems and Fanuc/Heidenhain/Mitsubishi controls to produce high-quality components.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machines to ensure optimal performance.
Work with general tool room machinery to support production processes.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control procedures.
Collaborate with the team to meet production deadlines and maintain high standards.
Key Experience & Qualifications – CNC Miller

Proficient in setting and operating:

Bridgeport Interact 4
Bridgeport VMC1000
Beaver
Hardinge VMC1000 MK2
Hartford MC2060
Bridgeport 1000
Experience with 1CNC CAM system.
Knowledge of Fanuc, Heidenhain, or Mitsubishi controls.
Familiarity with general tool room machinery.
Current Fork Truck Licence.
