Are you a skilled CNC Machinist with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality? Our client are looking for a CNC Machinist to join their team, where you'll work hands-on with complex aerospace components, ensuring every part meets the highest standards. You'll play a critical role in setting up, operating, and overseeing CNC machines in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
Position Details
Salary: £12.60 per hour, rising to £14.00 per hour plus shift allowance after completion of training
Shifts: Weekend Days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 5am - 6pmKey Responsibilities:
Operate CNC Machines: Work with Fanuc and Mazatrol controls to operate CNC centres and perform setup, tooling, and changeovers.
Manual Machine Operations: Set up and operate manual vertical and horizontal lathes.
Quality Control: Inspect and measure parts to ensure they meet exact specifications, making adjustments and modifications to tool offsets as needed.
Read Engineering Drawings: Interpret technical drawings accurately to guide setups and operations.What You Will Bring:
CNC Expertise: Prior experience as a CNC Machinist, with specific experience in Fanuc and Mazatrol controls.
Attention to Detail: Familiarity with inspection equipment and a strong understanding of quality standards.
Flexible and Hands-On: Ability to adapt to workload demands, a forklift license is a plus!
