CNC Machinist - CNC Turner  

Are you a highly skilled, self-sufficient CNC Machinist with a growth and improvement mindset?

I am seeking a CNC Machinist with experience as a Turner, with a solid track record in CNC machining, to join my client based in Ely who are currently seeing excellent growth!

CNC Machinist – Turner – Twin Spindle and Y-axis

Location: Ely
Salary: £30k-£40k DOE – May consider higher for very experienced candidates
Type: Permanent – Contract is an option for the right candidate
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8am-4.30pm, Friday 7am-3pm 

About the Client

This company specialises in precision engineering and advanced manufacturing, offering CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and comprehensive finishing services for aerospace, medical, and transport industries. Seeing excellent growth at a time where many are faltering, this company is doing it right!

Key Requirements:

Programming, setting, and operating CNC machines (essential for this role).
Solid CNC machining experience (ideally 5 years).
Experience with twin spindle and Y-axis machinery (preferred).
A positive attitude and proactive mindset towards continuous growth and improvement.
Self-sufficient – able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
