Are you an experienced CNC Machinist with experience in sub contract precision engineering, manufacturing or aerospace? Do you want to work for a prestigious employer with opportunities to develop your career? Do you want to work in a state of the art facility dealing with high end engineering? Due to growth I have multiple vacancies for CNC Turners. We're offering a very competetive rate of pay with overtime readily available at premium rates.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Edit programs and set up and operate CNC Lathes using Mazatrol or Fanuc controls

  • Working with a range of materials including exotic materials, nickel, super alloys, stainless steel, brass, duplex and aluminium

  • Using a range of measuring equipment and have a working knowledge of inspection procedures in order to undertake self-inspection

  • Working as part of the machine shop team and interface with the production support departments including production control, engineering, and maintenance

    Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Experience programming/editing and setting CNC Lathes

  • Experience with FANUC or Mazatrol controls

  • Experience working from engineering drawings

  • Ideally apprentice trained in machining or a mechanical discipline

  • Some experience within aerospace or sub contract precision engineering dealing with manufacturing components from exotic materials.
