What the role involves:

This is a full-time on-site Role

My Client is seeking a skilled CNC Grinder to set up, operate, and maintain CNC grinding machines to produce precision metal parts. The ideal candidate should have experience in grinding operations, blueprint reading, and quality control to ensure parts meet exact specifications.

Set up and operate CNC grinding machines, such as cylindrical, surface, or tool & cutter grinders.
Load and unload parts, ensuring proper alignment and secure clamping.
Adjust machine settings, speeds, and feeds based on specifications.
Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, CMM, etc.).
Ensure parts meet tight tolerances and surface finish requirements.
Make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and minimize scrap.
Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions to prevent production delays.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
Comply with company policies, industry standards, and ISO requirements.Key Skills required

Proven experience as a CNC Grinder or similar machining role.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T symbols.
Strong knowledge of grinding techniques, tool selection, and machine setups.
Familiarity with CNC programming (G-code) and basic editing is a plus.
Experience using precision measuring instruments.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
