CMM Inspector - Precision Engineering | Aerospace & Automotive | Wolverhampton
Salary: up to £40,000 per annum D.O.E
Type: Permanent, Full Time role, Mon - Fri (4pm - 2.15am)
Location: Wolverhampton
Hariley Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a leading precision engineering company working across aerospace and automotive sectors, seeking an experienced CMM Inspector to join their high-performing engineering team during an exciting period of growth!
Core Duties of a CMM Inspector:


  • Inspect machined components using CMM machines (Aberlink) and manual tools including verniers, micrometres, bore gauges, and callipers.

  • Interpret technical engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles.

  • Compile detailed and accurate inspection reports including FAIRs, ISIRs, and Certificates of Conformity (CofCs).

  • Identify and document non-conformances, raising concessions where appropriate.

  • Program CMMs in CNC mode and generate inspection routines.

What we’re looking for in a CMM Inspector:


  • Proven experience in CMM Inspection and dimensional measurement

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T

  • Experience with Aberlink CMM software

  • Skilled in generating CMM inspection programs

  • Self-motivated, with strong attention to detail

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-precision environment
